Richard Wells: Now I Belong to Jesus

The following is a moving rendition of this song from Donna Mugford with her guitar and is done with a male vocalist in a duet. It was recorded using a BrailleSense 6. The ambient quality is excellent. I am sure that Donna will identify the male vocalist who sings the lead part while Donna sings harmony.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The man singing with me is James, someone Cleve and I have known for several years. He and Harry, the friend that came with him to visit with us have a ministry here called Alaska Freedom Journey. It's a teaching ministry they do for a week each year around this time. I used to cook meals for it several years ago, but gave it up when other ministries started taking up more time. We have kept in touch every so often, so we were excited when they let us know they were in the area.

Well Donna, James and you caused that song to stay in my head all week. I try not to influence what we sing in corporate worship as long as it stays accurate in Theology. Of course this song qualifies perfectly. Long story even longer, I requested that we do the song today and we did. We didn't modulate from G to A like you two did, but it was well received and contributed to the flow of worship. By the way, I still cannot stop singing it. I think I'll go play your rendition again.

I'm glad you liked it, and that it led you to worship. As you could probably tell, we thoroughly enjoyed singing it.
