Roger C: To Display desktop instead of hiding it
I'm trying to bring the desktop with icons like microsoftt Edge and Sero, back to the desktop, so I don't need to find Desktop and Sero with the search option. Thank you

Hi Roger, you can get to your desktop from anywhere on your PC by pressing Windows plus D. I hope that helps.

I helped Roger with this some time ago, but thought I'd add a bit of info that may benefit others:
When the desktop icons are hidden, as in Roger's case, pressing Windows+D doesn't produce the expected results because there's nothing for the screen reader to focus on. You can try the following steps with System Access, but you may need to resort to NVDA or Jaws if this doesn't work with System Access:
1. Press Windows+D
2. Press Shift+F10. This should open the desktop's context menu. If it does, press your down arrow key to locate the "View" menu and click it.
3. Press the up arrow key once, which should bring you to the option to show or display desktop icons. Clicking this should restore your desktop's icons.

Roger: WINDOWS-KEY+D will focus the desktop without minimizing other applications. WINDOWS-KEY+M will focus the desktop minimizing all applications. If neither of those key strokes work for you, it is possible that Windows is not showing it for some reason. I would have to diagnose this through a remote session.

Roger C: helpful to get Remote Incident Manager: To Display desktop instead of hiding it
My own reply: It was helpful to get Remote Incident Manager to deal with this situation during an appointment:
