Cheng: Error message on installed System Access
Hi. I've been having this issue on window 11 for a few months now. I thought it was my computer, but it happened on my laptop, my old desktop, and my new desktop. When I install SA onto my computers, it will run ok, but after a few hours later or a day to two days later, the issue keep happening. I have to completely uninstall SA from the computer and delete everything in the program data and user's folders then reinstall it back to the computer. Since I can't copy the exact message and send it to support@pneumasolutions.com, I made a screen captured as a short video clip and send it that way. It's been a week now and I still haven't receive any response from technical support staff. I believe that it's not my computer that causing the issue because it happened for more than one computers and I have to do that over and over to use it so now I have to use the USB drive instead. Technical support should look into this issue and resolve it because we already paid for the licenses to install SA on our computers and later on don't get to use it then it does not sound right. With all the issues that occured one after another, I feel that SA is now an optional and last minute choice other than Jaws and NVDA. There should be something that have to be done to resolve these issues. I wish SA could be back to where it should be like ten years ago, but maybe this is just a wish. Maybe nothing won't be improve for window 11 users and SA will be useless if more issues occur in the future.

Hi Cheng,
I don't recall receiving your message, so please try sending it again. Also, if you haven't tried this, when the error message appears, press Ctrl+C, then paste it into a blank text document. If you were able to copy the error message, send it to us at support@pneumasolutions.com

Hi Shawn. When that happen, SA won't come up and if I use NVDA or narrator, the message haven't been selected to be copy to the clipboard. I try to use NVDA to copy it, but it won't copy the direct error message. In this case, how will it work if I try to press control+C if the error message could not be selected?

Hi Cheng,
By default, Windows uaually allows error messages to be copied without first selecting the text. Thus, when the error message dialog has focus, all that is requird to copy the message is to press ctrl+C.
An alternative to this would be to run NVDA and use N A O to do OCR of the screen. I'm pretty sure you can use your arrow keys and shift to select the text.
A third option is to use either NVDA or Jaws, then use the Be My Eyes app to describe your screen. This approach usuallys works quite well, especially since you can ask questions about the screen and the generated results can easily be copied.
