Tisha: Slightly, confused regarding VR3
Is it to my understanding that files, or content is only available via Windows…

Tisha: I haven't tried connecting my Victor Stream 3 with my Mac yet, but it would be an interesting experiment. Apple and Android are a little alike under the hood because Apple runs a free-BSD Unix shell and Android runs Linux under the hood. Since Victor Stream 3 is an Android device, I would think they, MAC and Victor Stream 3 would communicate. I assume that is the question you are posing. Anyway, this is way off topic to this Forum, so I had better shut up now.

The VR Stream 3 uses MTP for file transfers, which macOS doesn't support, but Windows does. Hence, there is no way to transfer files, neither from the Finder nor from the Sero app, on macOS. (And on Windows, Sero doesn't recognise or support the device, so you can't use that feature.)
I've not yet investigated the options on macOS but if I understand right there's a FUSE driver for MTP which could potentially solve this issue, however MTP is still rather inefficient compared to the mass storage of the Stream 2; its only advantage is that it can be used simultaneously with the player, so you don't need exclusive access to the disk or to swap SD cards, you can keep the player running, without restarting it, while you transfer files to or from it.

As Richard stated, this thread seems to be largely off-topic for this forum, unless the OP was specifically asking about connectivity to the VR3 from Sero.
