Snow Bunny: Today in history from The Library of Congress
On July 23, 1904, according to some accounts, Charles E. Menches conceived the idea of filling a pastry cone with two scoops of ice cream and thereby invented the ice cream cone. Me again: I love chocolate ice cream cones, Schwan's used to have a wonderful one, it was wrapped in paper. I don't think we have cones here but we do have ice cream cups. Beth

Ah yeah, you've got my brain thinking now! While we were on the ship they had a place where you could get some lovely soft serve, and now that we're back home, your mentioning the cone reminds me that someone needs to pick up some Blue Bell Country Cones next time they're at the store!
