Revelation 21:4 (NKJV) 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
No more pain; what a beautiful and precious place awaits us!
Life on this ole earth brings pain. Let's face reality. It comes to each of us.
Sure, there is some good, some joyful times, some happy and exciting moments. There are times of refreshing and times of celebration.
Absolutely, and praise be to God for them!
But because we love so much, there are also moments of pain, and sorrow. Especially if we have had some loss.
Boy... loss can hurt. Sometimes it hurts so bad it will knock us to our knees.
Loving strong, loving hard, and loving deeply will do that to us.
But, thank God this is not our permanent home. It is temporary.
Do what God has put in our hands to do. Do what we must do and get the job done. Do it with everything in us and with God's help.
When our time is done here, it's not over. He will be there to lead us into our Heavenly home. Our Home that He went to prepare for us.
John 14:2 (NKJV) 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
It is there, waiting, where there is no more sorrow, and no more tears.
What a day that shall be, when our Jesus we shall see!
Embrace the work we must do here. But, dear children of God, know that our home awaits us and the pain we once felt will be no more when we arrive at our home in Heaven.
