Psalm 100:3 (NKJV) 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
We are the work of His hands; how precious and beautiful this is.
The world wants us to lift ourselves up by always looking at the things we achieve as though we can do them by our own strength. They don't want us to give God any credit whatsoever.
This is the world's mindset; always giving people fat heads.
But God is the opposite. He wants us to remain humble, knowing that without Him we can do nothing.
John 15:5 (NKJV) 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
It's so important that we understand how God wants to be part of what we do every day.
He doesn't want us to wait until things get bad or too out of hand for us to handle. He wants us to come to Him, to let Him guide our steps throughout our lives.
He wants to be a part of the things we do. Together we walk this journey. Not alone.
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Let Him live, move and breathe in us daily.
Let us be the clay and Him the potter, for He knows us better than we know ourselves. Amen.
Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV) 8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.
