John 4:24 (NKJV) 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
It doesn't matter where one worships God. What's important is the attitude of one's heart.
Getting our hearts right with Him will cause a purification of our hearts, leading us into a beautiful place of worship with a sincere and genuine attitude.
Psalm 51:10 (NKJV) 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
When He works on our heart, we will be able to see the changes in ourselves.
We will see a humbling within ourselves. We will begin to become more submissive and obedient to the things we learn in His word.
Over time, we will change. And we will love the things of God more than we do the things of the world.
Our heart joins with Him, and we become ambassadors for Christ. We represent Him by the changes within our newly-cleaned heart.
2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV) 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
Our boasting is no longer about us, but He becomes our praise.
The more time we spend with Him, the cleaner our heart gets. The deeper our understanding, the greater revelation we have of Who He is.
Fall at His feet today and worship the King of Kings. Almighty God is He!
