Matthew 5:16 (NKJV) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
What is the purpose of letting our light shine?
It's not for us to be seen, but that our Father be glorified. It's a sacrifice we need to be willing to make.
When life is going good, we are good! But we all know that trials come. And we don't get to stop shining when this happens.
It's part of growing and maturing in our walk with God.
We've got to keep our position...
Those good works have to remain good even when we are struggling!
They have to be seen even when we are tired!
We have to push through the chaff and let good works be visible even when life is taking it's toll on us!
We won't lie. it is very challenging.
Can we be steady in this even in times of difficulty?
Will we give it our all and then some?
Are we in a place today where we say, "I don’t have it in me, I’m dealing with my own situation and that light is growing dim?"
Today, is a good day to ask God for His supernatural strength to revive us.
Psalm 85:6 (NKJV) 6 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?
Bring revival in our hearts once again, oh Lord!
