Through any faucet
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! – Matthew 7:11
Ever feel like you just don’t have enough to cover your needs?
We all know that feeling. One of the most common areas of need we experience is in our finances. We feel we don’t have enough no matter how much we have.
But here’s what I’ve learned over the years: God often uses our financial needs to remind us of His faithfulness and to show His power in a very tangible way. While we may be looking for Him to provide in obvious ways—a surprise check in the mail, a pay raise, or even a miracle like winning the lottery—God’s resources aren’t limited to our imagination. He can provide through any faucet, at any time, and often in ways we would never expect.
Psalm 50:10 reminds us that God “owns the cattle on a thousand hills.” In other words, every resource in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. His supply is endless, and His heart toward us is generous.
So whether your need is financial, relational, or even ministry-related, the real question is not how God will provide—but will you trust Him to do it?
Where in your life do you need to stop worrying about the “how” and start trusting God’s heart to provide?
