John 6:8-9 (NKJV) 8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
Jesus wanting to feed 5000 people with just five loaves and two fish seemed impossible to the disciples.
But He was about to perform a miracle right before all their eyes.
When Jesus was finished, they not only had enough for all of them to eat, but more than what they needed.
God will use what we give to Him and multiply it back to us, even with some to spare if we will have faith and obey Him.
Give up your seed today even if it is all you have. Give out of your poverty.
Mark 12:44 (NKJV) 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”
The poor widow in this verse gave her whole livelihood. She held nothing back. She trusted God wholeheartedly.
He knows everything we have. It came to us by His hand. Ask Him what it is that will be a sacrificial gift as we sow it into His kingdom.
Luke 6:38 (NKJV) 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Give when He prompts you, and you will see Him move.
Praise be to our Lord, God almighty.
