Three things you can count on
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. – Psalm 100:5
Some things will probably go wrong today…
A plan may fall through. Someone may disappoint you. Something you hoped would happen may not. Life has a way of reminding us how little we actually control.
But Psalm 100:5 gives us three things that will not change.
First, God is good.
His goodness isn't determined by how your day goes. Even when circumstances are hard and you don't understand what He's doing, His character remains good.
Second, His love endures forever.
People may disappoint you. Relationships may change. Your own feelings may fluctuate. But God's steadfast love isn't going anywhere. Nothing you face today can exhaust it.
Third, God is faithful.
He has been faithful through every generation, and He will be faithful to you. You may not always understand His ways, but you can always trust His character.
I need these reminders because life can feel incredibly uncertain. When everything around me seems to be shifting, I need something solid to stand on.
Maybe you do too.
So whatever today brings, remind yourself of these three truths: God is good. God loves me. God is faithful.
Prayer: Father, when life feels uncertain, anchor me in what I know to be true about you. Amen.
