1 Peter 1:5 (NLT) 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
As we walk this walk of faith, we must remember who our Father is.
And with that knowledge, we must understand that He protects us.
Why is He protecting us?
Because He wants to walk us through the trials and temptations of life, upholding us and keeping us by His power until we receive the salvation we have embraced through Jesus Christ on the last day.
Think about that!
We live from day to day, navigating life’s hurdles and obstacles, resisting the temptations and snares placed in our path by the enemy and his cohorts.
And through it all, He has His hand on our lives.
We are not orphaned.
We are not left alone.
We are not abandoned.
All we are required to do is obey Him and follow Him as He leads us.
No, it won’t always be easy. But as we obey His voice, and we heed His instructions, He shows us the way.
And as we take each step, we are moving closer and closer to Him and His kingdom.
And that is worth everything.
