To keep this documentation concise and mostly platform-independent, we will guide you through the features of DocuScan Plus, but for the most part, we will not spell out the specific keyboard commands you need to use to accomplish each specific task on each platform. So this documentation assumes that you are generally familiar with your chosen operating system and screen reader.
On Windows, if you run DocuScan Plus without a screen reader or choose to run it in self-voicing mode, you will be using Serotek's System Access screen reader. For more information on System Access, please refer to the System Access online help. Alternatively, you may choose to use DocuScan Plus in conjunction with your preferred Windows screen reader, such as JAWS, Window-Eyes, or NVDA. Regardless of which screen reader you use, you'll also need to be familiar with standard Windows commands for moving around and interacting with the user interface.
On the Mac, you will need to be familiar with the basic concepts of Mac OS X and how to move around and interact with the user interface using the VoiceOver screen reader.
