If you have a firewall, or an antivirus package, you may need to configure either or both of them so that System Access and Sero can use your Internet connection.
The following Windows based software is known to introduce some incompatibilities with System Access and Sero. If you have one of these software packages, it is recommended that you switch to a comparable package that is known to work well with a wide variety of software, including Serotek products.
This list will change as new undesirable software is located.
Norton Antivirus and Norton Security Suite will prevent System Access from obtaining Updates. If you continue to use these packages, you will want to periodically deactivate Norton to allow System Access to obtain Updates.
McAfee Security has been known to prevent System Access from accessing the Internet, even after instructing the software to allow it.
At the time of this writing, Microsoft Security Essentials and Vipre Antivirus are two programs which consistently work well with Serotek software.
